<p><strong>Uwe G. Schulte</strong> is a chemist by training. His career at Unilever spanned from product developer, plant manager, general manager of supply chain, to vice president of global supply management. He led up to 1500 employees introducing a unified global procurement function. During his time at Unilever, he had postings in Germany, the UK, Brazil, and Switzerland. For two years, he managed the INSEAD Social Innovation Centre (France) as executive director. His current focus is on sustainability and strategy as CEO and owner of Prosolvo GmbH (Germany) and as senior advisor for the Conference Board Global Sustainability Centre and as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Ecovadis.</p>
